How to prepare for an interview

    First, plan the interview questions. I brainstormed seven questions that are related to my topic and world issue. 

    Then take note of potential people to interview, aim for the people that can give the best answers. I took note of four interviewees. Out of my list I chose Nicole Henderson because she was Jamaican. It increased my chance of getting more thoughtful answers since she has a personal attachment to not only the dish but its history as well. 

    Then choose a good time and place to interview the person. I chose a convenient time which was in the morning to interview her. The noise was minimal, and the location was isolated which made for a perfect interview location. That was my process on how I prepared for my interview.
