How to write a headline
Headlines catch the reader’s attention so spending time on it is necessary in order to create a magazine. A headline should use literary devices such as onomatopoeia, alliteration, and rhyming. Headlines can contain multiple devices. The secondary headlining should provide a short description on what the content is about, it should include some of the 5Ws.
When I write my headlines I prefer to use alliteration, rhyming, or interjection as my literary device because I see them used the most in magazines. I also understand how to integrate them with my topic better. My secondary headline always starts with the main subject of the story, the who. Then I follow up with the verb, the what.
